Who should get custody of your children after you die?
Custody of Children is important if you have a young family. It is always a decision for the Court as to who gets custody of children. However, you can indicate who you think should get custody, especially interim custody while the Court is deciding. You will need to appoint a custodian and guardian of your children and their property in the event of the death of you and your spouse before all your children have attained the age of eighteen years. This guardian will have custody of any children and responsibility for the care and management of the real and personal property of such minor children.
