NAMES ARE COMPLEX
Names often change over a lifetime. When you were a child the name by which you were known may have been shorter or longer than the name you use as an adult. You or your parents may have moved from another country and your name got changed officially or unofficially when you arrived in Canada or shortly thereafter. On some documents you may use all three of your names and on others only two. Perhaps you dropped a middle name. Your children's names may have changed too. You need to think about the exact names of your Executor and Trustee. Some documents may be registered under a married name while others are under a pre-marriage name. It is important to include in your will very precise descriptions of individual names while indicating that, for example, Person ABC is one and the same person as ABD and BD.
