WHO IS MAKING THE WILL?
The first paragraph in a Will usually identifies the person who is making the Will. Your lawyer will need your full legal name with the correct spelling of middle names. You want to ensure that it is perfectly clear that this is YOUR personalized Will, not that of someone with a similar name. Your lawyer will draft in the name of the City of Brampton or the City of Mississauga or whatever City or Town where you currently live, in the Greater Toronto Area. Usually lawyers also draft into the will the name of the Regional Municipality such as the Regional Municipality of Peel.
